KTR Snubs Cop For Slapping Bike Race Organizer
Hyderabad: Telangana IT Minister K. Taraka Rama Rao on Monday showed his disapproval of the rash behavior of an inspector who hit a bike race organizer at Manchal on Sunday.
KTR‘s tweet addressed DGP Anurag Sharma to look into the matter and said that the act is against their philosophy of friendly policing.

To this Rachakonda commissioner Mahesh Bhagawat said that a charge memo has been issued against the inspector seeking his explanation following which further action will be taken.
It may be recalled that as many as 41 bike-racers and the organizer of a motor-sport event were taken into custody on Sunday by the Cyberabad Police for conducting a bike rally on the city outskirts without obtaining requisite permission.
However, the participants were let off on Sunday night after paying fine under the MV Act but the organizer will be prosecuted for conducting the rally without obtaining permission.
