KTR gets prestigious award

Telangana's IT and Panchayat Raj minister K Taraka Rama Rao has been conferred another prestigious national level award. He was chosen as the Most Inspirational Icon of the Year by India's biggest lifestyle magazine Ritz and CNN IBN. The award would be given away at a glittering function in Bangalore on December 13.

In a statement, Ritz magazine said the award is being given for the most outstanding progress made in public life. The jury said he is a clever leader, who is trying to establish highest norms of administration in Telangana. It said the he has vast knowledge about the needs of the people.
