KTR feels the heat on EAMCET-2 Paper Leak
KTR’s convoy waylaid in Karimnagar, ABVP and BYM protestors lathi charged, arrested
Karimnagar: The Telangana IT minister K.T Rama Rao found himself at the receiving end of the student’s ire in Karimnagar on Monday. Protestors belonging to the ABVP blocked his convoy and demanded that the ministers be held responsible and sacked for not being able to prevent the paper leak.
The minister’s car was stopped at the Prathima Multiplex as the agitators sat down on the road to prevent the minister’s car from moving forward. They demanded that the EAMCET-2 not be scrapped but those responsible for the leak to be strictly punished.
The police had to intervene and forcibly disperse the agitators by resorting to lathi charge. A few of them were also arrested. The members belonging to the Bharitiya Yuva Morcha also tried to waylay the minister. They too were arrested by the police and moved away from the area.
