Krish Receives Chiru Fans’ Wrath For Saying ‘Khabardar’
Hyderabad: Balakrishna's ‘Gautamiputra Satakarni’ recent audio launch was a resplendent one, but filmmaker Krish landed in soup for saying "Khabardar Sankranthi" during his speech.
I request all dear friends who spread my words faultily. I uttered the word with pure anguish for not giving place for Telugu nativity in the history. I’m telling this heartfully. I used the word ‘Khabardar’ for sense of levity on Telugus who lived as Madrasis for ages. My second film Vedam was with my closest friend Allu Arjun. My fourth film Kanche was with Varun Tej. Ram Charan is very close to me before I entered the industry. Chiranjeevi is a great person invited me to his residence, hugged me, analyzed each and every scene in Kanche and congratulated me, post release of the film. He is an inspiration to me. Please don’t look for flaws in my words. Thank you
Invariably, on Sankranti there will be clash between Ballaya's GPS and Chiru's comeback film 'Khaidi No 150'.
Megastar fans took his "Khabardar” as a warning sign to Chiru film, which didn't go down well with them. To this, Krish was trolled on micro-blogging sites. To which, the filmmaker issued a statement saying his words were misinterpreted, adding, he shares a close bond with the Mega family.
Here is Krish's statement: "I request all dear friends who spread my words faultily. I uttered the word with pure anguish for not giving place for Telugu nativity in the history.
