Kovvur: 'Vugra Godavari Laksha Gala Gharjana' draws attention

A sea of humanity gathered at Kovvur, a small town in West Godavari district. In support of Samaikyandhra, people from all walks of life converged at water tank centre and took part in 'Vugra Godavari Laksha Gala Gharjana'.

Students dressed up as Aluri Sitaramaraju, Mahatma Gandhi, Telugu Talli and Bharata Mata made heads turn.  The town observed bandh today. Shops and all other establishments remained shut.

Meanwhile, the Samaikyadnhra agitation in Seemandhra entered 43rd day on Wednesday.  Similar protests were also continuing in Srikakulam, Visakhapatnam, Krishna, Ananthapur, Kadapa, Nellore, Guntur, East and West Godavari districts.
