Kotagiri Vidyadhara Rao dies of heart attack

PCC official representative and former minister Kotagiri Vidyadhara Rao died of heart attack on Saturday morning. Rao had been suffering from ill health for quite sometime.

The minister, who was had a long standing association with the Telugu Desam entered politics in 1983. He was elected as MLA five tiimes from Chantalapudi constituency of West Godavari.

He held the portfolio of Agricultural Minister during NTR's regime and the office of Ministry Major Industries during Chandrababu Naidu's rule.  

At one point he had also moved to PRP as he was close to Chiranjeevi. He continued to be the official representative of PCC after PRP was merged with Congress.  Condolences have been pouring in from across the political fraternity for the family of the departed soul.
