Kotagiri death: CM orders police honours for funeral

Expressing shock over the death of former minister Kotagiri Vidyadar Rao, Chief Minister Kiran Kumar Reddy directed the Chief secretary to accord police honour for the  funeral of the late leader.

Vidyadhara Rao died of heart attack this morning. The leader died in his sleep, it is learnt. Rao was to campaign for his daughter who is contesting for sarpanch post. Several party leaders and supporters are thronging Rao's house to pay homage. Last rites of Kotagiri will be performed at Kamarakota village on Saturday evening.
