Komatireddy wants Ponnala to go

Senior Congress leader and former minister Komatireddy Venkata Reddy lambasted Telangana PCC president Ponnala Lakshmaiah and said he was responsible for the party's rout in the elections.
Speaking to reporters in Hyderabad on Saturday, he demanded the resignation of Ponnala from the post.
“Ponnala has no right to conduct party review meetings as he himself had lost in the recent assembly elections. How can such a leader review the position of the party,” asked Venkata Reddy.
He said that nothing can be achieved with such reviews by the PCC.
“Ponnala should immediately resign from his post and pave way for some other leader,” demanded Venkata Reddy.
He said that they would take the matter to AICC president Sonia Gandhi.
