Know these 'Blue mirchi'

Bobbili (Vijayanagaram): By seeing this picture, you might have come to an assessment that they are the grapes but maybe some special variety! But you are certainly wrong! The fruits seen in this picture are certainly not the grapes which taste sweet but they are a rare variety of mirchi which taste hot. Yes, these are the chillis which are in Royal Blue pigment and resemble grapes.

Tadi Ramakrishna, a resident of Gunnathotavalasa village of Bobbili mandal of Vijayanagaram district in Andhra Pradesh, is a labour by professiona and lover of nature. Ramakrishna has a hobby of planting trees and encourage others by supplying the plants too. In this way, he sowed a rare variety of mirchi seeds in his kitchen garden. The grown plants are now giving the blue chillis which look like grapes. The neighbours are also showing interest to plant these variety ‘BlueMirchi’ in their gardens and fields too.
