Kishan Reddy challenges Owaisi to contest against him
BJP state president Kishan Reddy, on Monday, challenged MIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi to contest against him from Amberpet assembly constituency in the city and get deposit.
“Narendra Modi is not needed to defeat Owaisi. Even an ordinary activist of BJP can defeat him,” said Kishan Reddy.
“MIM is not at all a political party. It is a destructive force,” he added.
He said that MIM chief did not change mentally even if he spent sometime in jail.
“Isn’t it a fact that he took the help of Sonia Gandhi and Ahmed Patel to come out of jail?” asked Owaisi.
“Owaisi, who has lobbied against the formation of Telangana in Delhi, has no moral right to talk of BJP now,” commented Kishan Reddy.
Reddy said that BJP National President Rajnath Singh would address the public meeting to be held at Exhibition Grounds in Hyderabad on March 11.
“We will also conduct a meeting with intellectuals, NGOs and others to discuss the ways of developing Telangana on March 6," said Kishan.
He said that it was not the best time to conduct the municipal elections in the state.
He addressed the media along with the leaders like Nagam Janardhana Reddy, Pradeep Kumar, Dr.Malla Reddy, S.Kumar, Premendar Reddy and others.
