'Kiran' to shine on 'Kamal'?
After his Jai Samaikyandhra Party political fiasco, former chief minister Kiran Kumar Reddy is a nowhere man. Now reportedly mulling joining the BJP.
There were reports that Kiran is looking towards the BJP to resuscitate his sagging political career and the BJP too is understood to have given its nod.
Giving credence to the rumors, BJP Telangana state president Kishan Reddy met Kiran and held a closed-door meeting with him. Though Kishan said they did not discuss politics, rumors are refusing to die.
It is said that Kiran was reluctant to join the BJP but his brothers have reportedly convinced him to save his political career. Kiran Reddy's ‘Jai Samaikhyandhra Party’ had suffered a humiliating defeat in the elections and most of its leaders have already left the party leaving him all alone in the party.
Two business houses, which are close to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, have reportedly initiated their efforts to persuade the former chief minister to join the BJP.
