Kiran is 'pagal': Former Minister

Former minister P Shankar Rao on Thursday criticised former Chief Minister Kiran Kumar Reddy for planning to launch a new political party.

Shankar Rao who has emerged as the bete noire of Kiran, termed him as 'pagal' (mad person).

"Kiran's mental condition is not stable, that is why he is trying to launch a new party," he said. He questioned if there would be any takers for Kiran's party.  

Stating that he wrote three letters against Kiran to Governor ESL Narasimhan,  the former minister said that the latter was involved in red sanders smuggling and he will be sent to jail if probe is ordered.
