Khammam: Road accident claims 6 lives
Six persons were killed in a road accident when a lorry and a auto collided head-on near Chandratanda of Tirumalayapalem in Khammam district on Saturday.
The deceased have been identified as Makka Susheela (65), Makka Padma (45), Makka Aruna( 35) and Murali (6). Makka Yadagiri ( 40) and Ganesh (16) breathed their last at a private hospital where they were being being treated for injuries.
All the deceased belong to Vissampalli village of Maripeda mandal in Warangal district. They were on their way to attend a programme in Basarlapudi.
The dead bodies have been shifted to a government hospital in Khammam.
