Khammam JC tastes Renuka Chowdary’s ire (2)

In a crass exhibitionism of her lung power, Rajya Sabha member Renuka Chowdary today called Khammam Joint Collector M N Naik names right in his office and in the presence of several onlookers.

Though the prime reason for the Joint Collector incurring the wrath of this firebrand leader is not immediately known, the senior bureaucrat has certainly tasted the fury of Renuka Chowdary.

Even when a large number of her supporters began shooting their mouth on the Joint Collector, the MP’s stony silence only gave them more vigor to vent their ire on an official, who has magisterial powers. She even staged a sit-in in front of the Collectorate demanding immediate solution to the problems being faced by the people of Khammam.

Surprisingly, Ramireddy Damodara Reddy, a Minister in the Kirankumar Reddy Cabinet, though was present at the scene, he remained as a mute spectator.
