Khammam BTech Student Dies in Road Accident

Khammam: BTech final year student died in a road accident near here yesterday on the Khammam-Wyra highway.
According to the police, G Sainath (20), native of Paloncha was studying in SBIT Engineering College in Khammam. He along with his classmate Saida Rao, native of Madhapuram village, were returning from Wyra on a two-wheeler.
Sainath tried to overtake a vehicle that was in front. While overtaking at a high-speed, their bike collided with a DCM van which was coming in the opposite direction. Sainath died on the spot while Saida Rao escaped with minor injuries. The dead body has been sent for post-mortem to Khammam urban hospital and a case has been registered.
