The barometer 30-scrip Sensitive Index (Sensex) of the BSE down 26.73 points or 0.08 per cent -- from its previous session’s close.

Mumbai: Key Indian equity indices opened flat on Friday with a negative bias.

The wider Nifty50 of the National Stock Exchange (NSE) traded lower by 8.00 points or 0.08 per cent at 10,317.15 points.

The barometer 30-scrip Sensitive Index (Sensex) of the BSE, which opened at 33608.59 points, traded at 33,570.07 points (9.25 a.m.) - down 26.73 points or 0.08 per cent -- from its previous session's close.

The Sensex has so far touched a high of 33614.49 points and a low of 33,554.46 points during the intra-day trade.

The BSE market breadth, however, was bullish with 713 advances and 498 declines.
