Kesineni Nani Shuts Down Travel Business

Vijayawada: TDP MP Kesineni Nani on Friday said that he has decided to down shutters on his travel business. The MP attributed controversies surrounding his travel operations for the closure of his travel business.

Kesineni Travels is a very popular private bus operator plying buses to all parts of the state, and also to neighbouring states like Karnataka, Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu and Kerala.

Nani further said that he did not want to bring bad name to the party, and also himself. Nani had run into controversy with alleged manhandling of transport commissioner N. Bala subrahmanyam during an argument over illegal permits granted to Orange travels.

Though Nani apologised, he apparently felt insulted with Naidu's reprimand and decided to quit the travel business. After the closure of the operations, the workers are demanding their two-month salary dues.
