Kerala Guy Wins One Million Dollars In Lottery at Dubai Duty Free

Abu Dhabi: What if you won a million dollar overnight? It would be pure magic right? Yes, the same thing happened with an Indian man. The 25-year-old guy from India hit the jackpot of USD one million in Dubai after he was declared as the lottery winner.

Dhaneesh Kotharamban, who is working as an electrician in Dubai bought the lottery ticket when he was travelling back home from Dubai to Kerala. It was his first ever ticket, which has made him a millionaire in a short span of time. The second winner is a Jordanian national Yazan Qaryouti, who also won USD one million at Dubai Duty Free (DDF) Millennium Millionaire and Finest Surprise Draws.

Dhaneesh was residing in Dubai from the past one and half year. Overwhelmed with joy, he said "I never thought that I would become a millionaire at young age. I really thank god for this wonderful gift and also I express my sincere thanks to Dubai Duty Free."

It was not the first time that an Indian has won a lottery in UAE. Earlier, a man from the god's own country won 12 million dirham through a prize money in Dubai. In October, eight Indians had won dirham one million each at mega raffle draw in Abu Dhabi.
