Kenyan woman, son held at Shamshabad airport, 1.5 kg gold seized 

Hyderabad: A Kenyan woman and her son were arrested on Thursday by the customs officials at Rajiv Gandhi International Airport for possessing 1.5 kg gold.

The customs officials found the concealed gold during a regular checkup when they were asked to go through scanners. The officials have seized their passports and are ascertaining information from the woman.

The duo traveled in an Emirates flight from Kenya to Dubai and then landed at Hyderabad.
