KCR warns TV 9, Andhra Jyothy for comments on T assembly

Telangana Chief Minister K.Chandrasekhar Rao warned the media organizations of serious action if they broadcast the news items which will embarrass Telangana.

A discussion has taken place in Telangana assembly over the behavior of some news channels and news papers in the state. Congress MLA Jeevan Reddy asked the house to pass privilege motion against the media organizations which insulted Telangana assembly and its MLAs. He demanded an immediate action on those media organizations.

Responding immediately, the chief minister blasted TV 9 and Andhra Jyothy for their comments on the MLAs in the assembly.

“TV 9 commented that the position of Telangana MLAs is is like that of those persons who entered the multiplex theatre coming from touring talkies. They exhibited arrogance. We will not fear for false propaganda. We will bring the cable acts like that in Tamil Nadu, if necessary,” said KCR.
