KCR wants 33% reservation for OBCs

Telangana Chief Minister KCR asked Prime Minister Narendra Modi to help in increasing the number of seats in Parliament and State Legislatures by 33%.

In a letter to the prime minister, KCR requested him to take steps to provide 33% reservation for Other Backward Classes(OBC) both in Parliament and State Legislative Assemblies of all the States in the Indian Union, so as to improve the political participation of the OBCs in the decision making process."
The Telangana CM also requested the PM to take appropriate measures to create an Independent Ministry for the welfare and development of the Other Backward Classes (OBC) at National level at the earliest.
Telangana State legislative Assembly and Legislative Council have passed the three resolutions unanimously, he mentioned in the letter.
