KCR to Visit Vijayawada to Invite Chandrababu for Chandi Yaagam
Hyderabad: Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao is going to visit Vijayawada to invite his AP counterpart N. Chandrababu Naidu for his Aayutha Chandi Yaagam.
KCR will fly from Begumpet airport at 11.30am on Monday. KCR initially wanted to meet Naidu in Hyderabad last week, but there was some development in the cash-for-vote scam at that time and being rival parties, he postponed the program as it could affect the sentiments of his party cadres.
Traditionally, the hosts would visit the guests' house for inviting and by visiting Vijayawada, KCR is going to show his respect for the age old social norms. This could also pave way for improved relations between the politicians of both the states. Chandrababu invited KCR for Amaravati ceremony by visiting his house and the latter must be thinking of reciprocating the gesture by all the way travelling to Vijayawada.
KCR invited all the bigwigs of the Indian politics for the Yaagam to be conducted at his farm house at Erravalli in Medak district from December 23 to 27. As the President Pranabh Mukharjee is scheduled to stay at Rashtrapati Nilayam in the city from December 18 to 31, he might attend the Yaagam too. This Yaagam is going to be second biggest in the country.
KCR will visit Shrungeri Peetham in Karnataka on December 16 to invite the Peethaadhipati to conduct the Yaagam.
