KCR To Offer ‘Mukku Pudaka’ To Kankadurga Goddess
Hyderabad: Telangana chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao would present 'mukku pudaka' (nose stud) to Goddesss Kankadurga at Vijayawada to fulfill the vow he made during the Telangana agitation. KCR and his family would pay a visit to Vijayawada on September 27 as part of the Navratri Utsavalu.
Earlier, the chief minister also offered a gold crown weighing 3 kg and 700 grams worth Rs 3.60 crore to Bhadrakali temple in Warangal; gold ornaments worth Rs 5 crore to Lord Balaji and a nose-stud worth Rs 45,000 to Goddess Padmavati at Tirupati. He also offered 'bangaru meesalu' (golden moustache) worth Rs 60,000 to Kuravi Veerabhadra Swamy temple in Mahabubabad district.
All these offerings were made in fulfilment of the promises made during agitation for separate Telangana.
