KCR to create earthquake in Medak on May 3

TRS chief K Chandrasekhara Rao has called for a shutdown of Medak district following  Chief Minister Kiran Kumar Reddy's statements on the allocation of Bayyaram mines to the Visakhapatnam steel plant.

It may be recalled that KCR, during the party anniversary programme had threatened to create an earthquake-like agitation if the CM did not withdraw the GO that was passed.

In a retaliation swift, the Chief Minister on Monday dared the TRS chief "I challenge KCR to create that earthquake if he can. I am not afraid of such earthquakes and can survive it."

Condemning Kiran Kumar Reddy's stance on the Bayyaram mines, KCR has called for a bandh on May 3. Earlier, the party had decided to call for a shutdown on May 2. However, the date was pushed by a day as the examinations for the polytechnic courses will be held on that day.

On the other hand, the TRS chief's son KTR trained his guns at the chief minister for his statements against his father. Talking to the media in Delhi, KTR threatened to intensify their agitation over Bayyaram Mines.

KTR said "Sonia Gandhi clearly knows the effect of KCR's earthquake". He recalled that the Centre issued a statement in favour of Telangana only after realising the intensifty of KCR deeksha. Kiran Kumar Reddy has no guts to bear KCR's earthquake, he added.
