KCR to campaign in Warangal bypoll today
Hanamkonda: Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandtrashekhar Rao will campaign in Warangal Parliamentary by-elections on Tuesday. The CM will also attend a public meeting in Hanamkonda.
According to TRS Warangal district president T. Ravinder Rao, KCR will attend the meeting at Hanamkonda, which is being organised by the TRS District wing of Warangal, to gather votes for TRS candidate Pasunuri Dayakar. The meeting will be held around 5.00 pm.
TRS is expecting a huge majority in the bypoll . Several ministers and second rung leaders of the party have been campaigning for their candidate. The bypoll scheduled on 21 November. The campaign currently underway in full swing with several Congress stalwarts including Digvijay Singh, Mira kumar, Sushil Kumar Shinde and Koppula Raju camping in Warangal in order to campaign for party candidate.
More than one lakh cadres are expected to participate in Tuesday’s event. Police Commissioner of Warangal district, G. Sudhirbabu has inspected the route map of the CM tour.
Meanwhile, oficials said that KCR will also meet Gudimalla Ravikumar, disgruntled honorary president of Telangana Auto Drivers Union, who was earlier denied party ticket for the bypoll.
