KCR Tells KTR To Go Ahead With Demolition Of Illegal Buildings Even If They Belong To Party Men
Hyderabad: Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao who was on a tour in Nizamabad district on Tuesday called up Municipal Administration and Urban Development Minister KT Rama Rao exclusively to enquire about the on-going demolition of illegal constructions across the nalas and drainage system in the city.
KCR is reported to have directed the son to intensify the demolition work without any fear or favor even the structures belong to politicians including his own party men.
The sources said that the chief minister was taking the issue seriously and ordered the minister KTR to go with the demolitions sternly on the second day. KCR also advised KTR to use extra manpower in case of any necessary but was determined to clear the drainage systems that were occupied by squatters for decades across the city which have been causing blockage of drainage system ending up flooding the low-lying areas.
The Chief Minister is scheduled to visit the Sri Ram Sagar Project on Tuesday.
