KCR's PRC gift to T employees

* 43 per cent fitment announced

In a clear effort aimed at keeping the vocal and powerful Government employees happy, the Telangana Government has announced the much-awaited pay revision.
Chief Minister KCR has announced a fitment of 43 per cent. The fitment would also be applicable to those who would retire on June 30. He had also announced that several anomalies in the pay structure would soon be ironed out. The fitment would be applicable from June 2, 2014. Orders to this effect would be released on Friday.
The chief minister said that the the arrears woudl be credited to the respective GPF accounts of the employees and the hiked salaries would be given from March.
The PRC implementation would mean an additional burden of Rs 6500 crore on the state government.
The employees associations have expressed happiness over the PRC and thanked the chief minister for backing the employees.
