'KCR not talking about Polavaram bill, because...'

Senior Congress leader and Deputy floor leader in Telangana Legislative Council Shabbir Ali demanded that  Chief Minister K.Chandrasekhar Rao inform the steps taken to stop the Polavaram bill in Parliament.

“Why did he not take an all party delegation to Delhi till now?” asked Ali.

“TRS leaders should have gone to Delhi and met AICC president Sonia Gandhi asking her support to stall the bill,” commented the MLC.

He reminded that KCR had given a report to Sri Krishna Committee demanding that the Centre to carve out Telangana as it existed before 1956.

“For that reason only, KCR is not coming forward to talk on Polavaram bill now,” said Ali.
