KCR lone contender for TRS chief post
K Chandrasekhara Rao was unanimously reelected as president of the TRS. Nomination process concluded on Thursday for the president post as one nomination has been filed for KCR.
Hence, his election to the party chief post was formal as there was no contest. The official declaration is likely to be announced at the party politburo meeting to be held in Armoor, Nizamabad district on April 27.
Meanwhile, Karimnagar town was decked up for “Kadana Bheri”, a mega public meeting organised by TRS on Thursday. KCR and other senior leaders are participating in the meeting in which TDP MLA Gangula Kamalakar would join the TRS.
