KCR heading for Andhra after 14 years

Telangana chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao will be heading for Andhra region after a gap of 14 years.

Following the personal invite from Andhra Pradesh chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu, KCR will be heading for Andhra Pradesh to attend the foundation stone laying ceremony of the new capital on October 22.

He will have a stopover in Suryapet of Nalgonda district on October 21, before heading for the ceremony on October 22, sources said.

His earlier scheduled visits to the region were hampered by several factors including hurricanes in the coastal region and law and order concerns by security officials due to the Telangana agitation.
