KCR gets life threat calls, wants Z Plus category security

TRS floor leader Etela Rajender has approached Former Intelligence Bureau Chief and Andhra Pradesh Governor ESL Narasimhan seeking protection to his party president K. Chandrasekhara Rao.

The TRS leader complained to the Governor that KCR was facing life threat. He requested the Governor to order the police to provide security to KCR and take action against those who threatened him.

Etela later met the DGP Dinesh Reddy and urged him to provide Z Plus category security to KCR.  He has demanded a police probe into the conspiracy. Speaking to the media later, the TRS leader said the DGP assured protection and directed the police to enquire.

It may be recalled that Etela Rajender and Harish Rao alleged that some people are plotting to kill TRS chief K. Chandrasekhara Rao.

The killers have already been given the money to carry out the job.  "We have information that someone paid 'supari' for it," they said.  However, the leaders failed to disclose the identity of the person saying they will tell only when the time is ripe.
