KCR Congratulates 'Baahubali' in Assembly
Hyderabad, Mar 29: The Telangana Assembly on Tuesday appreciated the makers of Baahubali for becoming the first Telugu film to win the coveted National Best Film award.
Speaking in the Assembly, Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao congratulated the unit of Baahubali for it being the first Telugu movie to win the National award for best feature film. His appeal to appreciate the filmmakers was supported by thumping of desks by all the members.
Baahubali, directed by ace Telugu director S S Rajamouli, was announced as the best feature film winner for the National award. Baahubali star Rana Daggubati said, I am thrilled. We took a risk and attempted something different with it. Now with this award we feel honoured.
