KCR Changed Jai Telangana To Jai Andhra: Congress

Hyderabad: Chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao (KCR) turned the slogan 'Jai Telangana' to 'Jai Andhra' as evident from his silence on injustice to Telangana state in the Union Budget 2018, Congress MLA Jeevan Reddy said.

In a statement on Friday, the MLA said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi insulted the state with a meagre allocation of funds in the Union Budget. However, the CM did not protest nor question the Central government on the poor fund allocation, Jeevan Reddy said and added that KCR's revolutionary spirit is missing as he has completely surrendered to the BJP government.

Meanwhile, senior Congress leader Geetha Reddy decried the comments made by Telangana IT minister KT Rama Rao on Congress president Rahul Gandhi. She said KTR and the TRS party do not have any right to comment on Rahul Gandhi. She reminded the minister that KCR met Sonia Gandhi several times for a separate Telangana state prior to the state bifurcation.
