KCR cabinet reshuffle: Rajiah, the big loser
Telanagana Chief minister KCR has dropped his Deputy CM and Health Minister T Rajiah in a sudden development on Sunday.
Governor ESL Narasimhan administered the oath of office and secrecy to Kadiyam Srihari. The Warangal MP was sworn-in as the new cabinet minister of Telangana at the swearing-in ceremony held at Raj Bhawan in Hyderabad.
Education minister Jagadeesh Reddy got shifted as the Power minister, while Lakshma Reddy, has been given health ministry.
Rajiah has been facing corruption charges regarding the purchase of medical equipment, ambulances for medical colleges, appointment of para medical staff etc.
It is being said that the Telangana CM was not happy with Rajiah's work and asked him to put in his papers.
Several TRS ministers including Harish Rao, Etela Rajender, Jogu Ramanna and MP K Kesava Rao attended the ceremony.
