KCR booked for derogatory remarks against PM
The Khammam II town police on Saturday registered a case against TRS Chief K. Chandrasekhara Rao following directions of a local court for his derogatory remarks against Prime Minister Manmohan Singh.
The First Class Magistrate court of Khammam directed the police to file a case against KCR following a petition by Advocate Gollapalli Rama Rao.
It may be recalled that KCR during the 'Samara Deeksha' at Indira Park in January had said a Chaprasi (peon) in Parliament is more intelligent than Prime Minister Manmohan Singh.
CI Sarangapani booked a case against KCR under Sections 420, 506,505,504, 124 A, 120 of the Indian Penal Code.
