KCR Announces Rs 1 Crore And 600 Sq Yards To Mithali Raj

Hyderabad: Appreciating her performance in ICC Women Cricket World Cup 2017, Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao announced a cash reward of Rs 1 crore for Indian women's cricket captain Mithali Raj on Friday.

Mithali met the CM on Friday on his call as soon as she arrived in Hyderabad. Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao congratulated Mithali and rewarded Rs 1 crore and 600 square yards plot in Banjara Hills as a token of appreciation. Rao also felicitated Mithali with a shawl.

Chief Minister also felicitated her coach RSR Murthy and announced a cash prize of Rs 25 lakh to him.

Mithali’s parents, Dorai Raj and Leela Raj, DGP Anurag Sharma, Commissioner of Police Mahender Reddy, Additional DG Anjan Kumar, Sports Authority of Telangana State Chairman Venkateswar Reddy were present on the occasion.
