Kavuri threatens 'Maha Dharna' over unresolved issues

Senior Congress leader and Eluru MP Kavuri Sambasiva Rao who was unhappy with the Congress high Command as he did not find a place in the Cabinet during the recent reshuffle, 

on Sunday said he would stage a 'Maha Dharna', if government did not solve the immediate problems faced by the people of his constituency.

The MP who toured Eluru and a met a cross section of the people, said that farmers are facing severe problems.  Farmers from different villages met him and explained the hardships they were undergoing. Assuring them, Kavuri said that he would soon give the government an ultimatum to solve their problems.

He also said that if the government fails to resolve their issues within a month, he would undertake a ‘Maha Dharna' in Eluru.
