Kavuri in a dilemma on continuing in Congress

Union Minister for Textiles and senior Congress leader Kavuri Sambasiva Rao said that he was in a big dilemma on continuing in Congress party.
Speaking to the reporters in Eluru yesterday, he said,“I have been associated with Congress party for the last 47 years. I will inform my future course of action after discussing the same with my associates and people of my constituency.”
He made it clear that he would contest in the next Lok Sabha elections from Eluru constituency only.
“The position of Congress party is so pathetic in the state and even worse than that in 1984,”, said the minister.
He supported the imposing of President’s rule in the state.
The Eluru MP said that it would be better if the new capital of Seemandhra can be built in the areas of Vijayawada, Guntur and Eluru.
“It is so shameful the way the bill on Telangana was approved in Parliament.
“We will bring an ordinance on Polavaram in today’s cabinet meeting. We will also try for merging all the villages in Bhadrachalam division, except the temple area, in Seemandhra,” said the minister.
He said that the President’s rule in the state was the result of lack of a consensus among the leaders of the state.
