Katamarayudu teaser sets new record 

Hyderabad: Pawan Kalyan’s upcoming film Katamarayudu has set a new benchmark as it received a record number of views in a few hours of its release on Saturday evening. The teaser, which garnered two million views in just five and a half hours, went on to record over 3.7 million views in 23 hours, only next to Rajinikanth’s Kabali, which garnered nearly six million views in 24 hours.

The teaser also garnered 1,46,000 likes in the same duration, making it the highest liked Telugu teaser ever. The hashtag #KatamarayuduTeaser had been trending on twitter across the country on Monday morning with powerstar’s fans going gaga after the actor’s last outing Sardaar Gabbar Singh proved to be a box-office dud.

The film, directed by Dolly (Kishore Kumar Pardasany), is set to release this summer in time for Ugadi.
