Kannada Film Director Held In Sex Racket

Bengaluru: A Kannada film director was arrested on Saturday for running a sex racket on the pretext of audition for new actors..

Prakyath Poncy, the director of Kathriguppe Cutting Shop movie, had rented a friend's house some time ago. He started auditioning and used thos pretext to lure girls into sex racket. On learning, something was wrong, locals informed Purushotham, the flat owner and a friend of the director.

Purushotham demanded the director to vacate the flat, but the director threatened to get his bashed up by locals goons. The flat owner then approached the police and lodged a complaint against him.

Police registered a case and arrested the director and the girls.
