Junior doctors call off strike

It's looks like the talks between the junior doctors and the government was fruitful. It is being said that junior doctors have called off their strike and reported to duties.Junior doctors said that they were calling off their strike as the government had agreed to look into their demands.

The government is supposed to have agreed to release funds to the tune of Rs 1,350 crores for the medical facility in rural areas. However, the junior doctors did say that the government is yet to clarify on quite a few other issues. The junior doctors have also demanded that the government clealy spell out the terms under which they are expected to work in rural areas.
