Joyride proves fatal for 19-year-old girl

Nellore: Joyride with her boyfriend turned out to be the last journey for Harika of Vedayapalem in Nellore district.
This 19-year-old girl was dropped at her college by her parent. But, soon after her boyfriend Saikumar of Inamadugu in Kovur picked her up and set out for Tirupati.
En route, while crossing Kota Crossroads, a milk dairy tanker suddenly swerved, due to which Saikumar applied sudden break. Harika, who was pillion riding flew into air and fell right before the tanker. The tanker ran over her head killing her on the spot. Saikumar also suffered critical injuries.
The police rushed to the spot and shifted the body for post-mortem, while Saikumr was shifted to a hospital. The police have registered a case.
