JNTUH To Re-Conduct TS-ECET On June 4

Hyderabad: The Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Hyderabad (JNTUH) has decided to reconduct Telangana State Engineering Common Entrance Test (TS-ECET).

After the widespread protests from students and parents on the results, the authorities have decided to re-conduct the ECET examination. The re-test will be conducted to the affected candidates only. Around 130 candidates stated that they faced problems with the question paper. The exam was held on May 6.

"Candidates who are willing to appear for Re-examination are required to register at ecet.tsche.ac.in," said Professor A. Govardhan, convenor, ECET. He also said that the students can download exam application form from ecet.tsche.ac.in and the filled-in applications can be submitted at the convener office, TS ECET-2017, JNTUH or the scanned copy of the duly signed filled-in application be mailed to tsecet2017@jntuh.ac.in.

Application forms will not be accepted by courier or post, the convener said. The last date for submission of applications either by hand or through e-mail is May 30. The re-exam will be conducted on June 4 from 10 am to 1 pm at JNTU-H College of Engineering Hyderabad.
