JNTU Staffer Held For Duping Students By Fake Promise Of Clearing Backlogs

Hyderabad: An employee of Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Hyderabad (JNTU-H) has been arrested by KPHB police on Wednesday for duping over 20 students to the tune of Rs 12 lakh on the promise of getting their backlogs cleared.

Students filed a cheating case against him as he failed to keep up his promise

The accused, Francis (50) had collected amount between Rs 15,000 to Rs 20,000 from each of the student. Students filed a cheating case against him as he failed to keep up his promise.

Francis works at the book binding section of JNTU-H campus at Kukatpally.
