JC Diwakar Reddy develops cold feet, not to contest RS elections

Hyderabad, Former minister Tadipatri MLA JC Diwakar Reddy has decided not to stand for Rajya Sabha elections, on Tuesday.

According to reports, the MLA had a change of heart and didn't submit his nomination paper to Assembly Secretary, Sadaram. 

Interestingly, Diwakar Reddy was extremely keen to stand for RS elections, and his insistence, had also led to a war of words between him and PCC chief Botsa Satyanarayana. Then what prompted his change of plans?

He had also sought support from Ministers Ganta Srinivas Rao,T G Venkateshwarlu, among others for his candidature.
