JC attacks Chandrababu on fund allocations for AP
TDP MP from the Anantapur parliamentary constituency JC Diwakar Reddy has once again made controversial comments on his party chief Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu.
At a time when Chandrababu is facing flak from the opposition parties for his silence on according the special status to AP, his own party MP has launched a trenchant attack. " Chandrababu can plead not pressurise the Centre on the issue of special status to AP. He is unable to pressurise the Centre to get more funds and projects to the State as AP is not playing a big role in the national politics," he said.
JC opined that the issue of exerting pressure on the Central government does not arise as Chandrababu can only request the Centre for more funds. Nobody cares for AP in the Centre, he felt.
He also said that a mere 14 MPs from AP can play no role at the Centre.
The Anantapur leader also came down heavily on Congress president Sonia Gandhi blaming her for bifurcating the state to pursue her selfish interests."
