Jawan's suicide in garrison: Bereaved wife blames cops

Anasuya, wife of Jawan Appal Raju who killed himself with duty revolver on Sunday night alleged that the police harassment was responsible for her husband. She demanded action against the police.

He said that her husband was patriotic and joined army to serve the nation. He was constantly harassed in connection with the death of Syed Mustaffa, claimed the Jawan's wife. Appalraju who hails from Guntur is survived by his wife and two children

On October 9, an 11-yr-old Mustaffa was found charred to death in the army garrison.   Appalraju was being investigated in connection with the incident.
