Jana Sena Will End Politics Of Business: Pawan Kalyan

Pawan Kalyan speaks to media after meeting with party cadres in Hyderabad on Sunday - Sakshi Post

Hyderabad: Actor-politician Pawan Kalyan on Sunday reiterated that his party Jana Sena would work to end money-based politics and to empower the masses so that they can become a significant force in the establishment.

Speaking to media after day-long deliberations with the party cadres from Anantapur, the power star took a strong objection to the criticism that he was not a full-time politician.

"Where is a full-time politician for that matter? Every politician is involved in some business or the other and amassing crores of rupees using their political positions and platforms whereas I am continuing my acting only to support my family and those dependent on me," he said adding that whether we make an impact society or not what matters and not whether it was full-time or part-time politics.

"I have entered politics only to fight for the welfare of society and common man and if need be, I can even keep my acting assignments aside for some time," he said.

Sharing his plans to contest from Anantapur with the cadres and leaders of the district, Pawan announced his padayatra to be taken out in the last week of May.

Jana Sena has recruited a few hundred enthusiasts as party's full-time cadres in Anantapur and a similar recruitment will be taken up for Srikakulam on May 17 and 18, Vizag - May 19 and 20 and for Hyderabad on May 23 and 24.
