Jana Reddy plays to the gallery

Panchayati Raj Minister K. Jana Reddy spoke to Chief Minister N. Kiran Kumar Reddy over the phone to express his displeasure over the government going back on its word on allowing a peaceful march and meeting at the Necklace Road in support of a separate state for Telangana.

He said the time had come for the ministers from the region to decide whether their posts were important for them or the larger cause of Telangana.
Meanwhile, Telugu Desam Party (TDP) MLAs were arrested in front of the assembly building as they blocked the traffic in support of the march.
