Jaitley To Present Union Budget On February 1

New Delhi: The Budget Session of Parliament will commence from 29 January and the Union Budget will be presented on 1 February, the Cabinet Committee on Parliamentary Affairs recommended on Friday, 5 January.

President Ramnath Kovind will address the joint sitting of the two Houses on 29 January and the Economic Survey will be tabled on the same day, Parliamentary Affairs minister Ananth Kumar told reporters here.

The first phase of the session will be from 29 January to 9 February. After a recess, Parliament will meet again from 5 March to 6 April, Kumar said.
